According to Deadline, the premise for The Chair Company centers on a man (Robinson) who finds himself caught up in a conspiracy following an embarrassing incident at work. It’s a scenario that doesn’t sound far off from the characters that populate Netflix’s I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinsonwhich Robinson co-created with Kanin.

This will mark the third major outing for the two, who met as writers on SNL and also created the half-hour comedy Detroiters, in which Robinson starred opposite Sam Richardson.

2024 is shaping up to be jam-packed for Robinson, who also recently announced the “I Think You Should Leave Live Tour,” a 10-date trek that kicks off in New York City before hitting Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Houston, San Diego, Los Angeles, and more cities in the US. Get tickets here.
