The Winter Music Conference Is Returning to Miami In 2025

The Winter Music Conference is returning to Miami in 2025, its organizers announced this week.

The event, one of the nation’s leading electronic music summits, was founded in 1985 and is estimated to attract roughly 100,000 people. Marking the brand’s 35th anniversary, next year’s Winter Music Conference will be the first since 2019.

The summit had been scheduled to return the following year, but the impact of the pandemic throttled its plans. Influential speakers scheduled to appear in 2020 included Patrick Moxey, founder of Ultra Records; Lyor Cohen, YouTube’s Global Head of Music; and superstar dance music duo SOFI TUKKER, among many others.

Organizers ultimately launched the first virtual Winter Music Conference in its history, developing a slate of VR-based music programming in collaboration with VRJAM. Over 50 artists performed virtual DJ sets at the time, including pioneering Chicago house music legend Marshall Jefferson.

Details on the 2025 Winter Music Conference have been emailed to all badge holders, according to an announcement shared by organizers on X.
